Edwin is an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya with extensive experience spanning a broad spectrum of civil and commercial litigation. Over the years, he has handled complex disputes including estate matters involving allegations of forged Wills, contested winding-up petitions on just and equitable grounds, post-winding-up and liquidation processes, and claims against former directors for undue preference and fraudulent trading.
His portfolio also covers defamation suits involving both individuals and major publishers, securities-related litigation, professional negligence claims, as well as various injunctions, pre-emptive reliefs, and contractual or commercial disputes. Edwin has appeared before all levels of the Malaysian judiciary, from the subordinate courts up to the Federal Court.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Multimedia University, where he received the LexisNexis Award in his final year. During his university years, Edwin led his team to a joint 2nd place finish for written submissions in an Intellectual Property Moot organised by the University of Oxford. He also represented Malaysia in the international rounds of the International Humanitarian Law Moot after his team emerged as the Malaysian champion.
